What’s happening in our front yard?

Many who have visited NGERINGA at the cellar door have seen the incredible development of the Ngeringa Cultural Centre (NCC) at the front of the property over the last 18 months.

A separate entity to NGERINGA Vineyards, the NCC features a sophisticated, architecturally-designed and sustainably-built chamber concert hall, purpose built to host the Ngeringa Concert Series. This frequently sold-out concert program of internationally-recognised performances has been run on the Ngeringa property for the last 12 years from a humble weatherboard building. Now officially open, the new NCC is the latest contribution by Erinn’s family’s Ngeringa Arts (NA) Foundation to the cultural life of South Australia and beyond.

The centre also carries the capacity to host private and corporate functions and will be run independently of NGERINGA Vineyards and our cellar door activities. We are excited, however, that the NCC recognises the unique combination of experiences that makes a visit to NGERINGA so special and will exclusively serve NGERINGA wines and offer a menu featuring NGERINGA home-grown or local, organic and biodynamic produce.

From the concert hall you can see an intimate view of our Summit Vineyard just beside the newly redesigned front gardens and specially commissioned sculptures. The NCC – which opened officially on August 29th and housed its first public concert on August 30th – is a cultural icon and a meeting place in a stunning landscape for people to gather to celebrate fine music, art, wine, food and the people who make it.
