Vintage is well upon us once again. Yields are down considerably for the second year in a row, but if last year’s quality is anything to go by, we should have some beautiful wines. So far the quality we see in our ferments are very promising.
To celebrate the end of vintage this year, our good friend Brendan Cato The Farmed Table is coming back down to cook a long “End of Vintage” lunch here at Ngeringa.
Brendan’s events are consistently sold out in NSW and we see him every year at vintage to help in the vineyard, the winery, to cook for our vintage team and collaborate with Erinn on the Ngarto label.
This long lunch will take place on Saturday the 28th March, starting at 2pm. Expect our best summer produce from the Ngeringa veg garden, Ngeringa biodynamic beef, maybe some wild game and hopefully some porcini on the menu.
Erinn and Brendan will be launching the “Ngarto 2019” range of wines also on the day. The 2019 Skinsy Chardonnay, Field Blend Red and the 2nd vintage of the Ngarto Syrah Viognier, all of an exceptional vintage.
Tickets $65 (5 course menu). Wines available for purchase on the day at Cellar Door prices by the glass or bottle. We will also include an exclusive cellar tasting of our best new season wines from barrel and the new release Ngarto and Ngeringa wines. Bookings essential, limited seats.
