NGARTO is a collaboration between two friends, Erinn Klein (Ngeringa) and Brendan Cato (Carto Wines).
Site: Summit Vineyard, 380m, Mt Barker Summit
Soil: Sandy loam, over red-orange clay and sandstone
Harvest: Hand harvested, 27th February 2019
Fermentation: Wild yeast, 10 days on skins.
Winemaking: Naturally...no fining, no filtration.
Élevage: Old French oak for 8 months and 6 months in bottle.
So2: Minimal...free 5mg/L, total 9mg/L
