We’re looking forward to our annual Winter Reds event: Fire in the Fields of Ngeringa x Andrew Wandless, Head Chef of Una Mas (Sydney), who specialises in over-the-fire cooking. Begin with a glass of wine and canapes by the bonfire and a chat with winemaker Erinn Klein, followed by a 4 course meal featuring produce from the Ngeringa farm. Saturday 30 July, 5pm. Vintage 2022 is finally over after pressing our Nebbiolo last Friday and putting it into barrel to sleep for winter.

A solid harvest with moderate yields from a much cooler than usual season. Wines are already showing lots of promise; elegant, great acidity and expression.

It's a busy time on the farm. One last spray of the vineyard to prevent mildew; we're getting ready to put the bird nets on as our first bunch of Pinot Noir has begun to change colour. This usually means it's about a month until harvest begins.

We have just labelled a small qty of our Ngeringa Pet Nat 2021 Magnums.

This lightly bubbly Rosé has a delicious nose of exotic flowers and musk, pithy grapefruit, blood orange and citrus blossom. On the palate there is a mixed fruit salad experience that is light, refreshingly fruity, with a dry, textured finish.

This is always a go-to favourite during summer months.

Luna is guarding our latest little vine project- Trousseau (a lesser known French red grape variety from Jura) . Now for a few years of tending to these young delicate plants before we see any grapes. 2024 may be our first vintage from these babies. ⏳ 🍇 🍷
