Ngeringa is excited to announce that Erinn’s good friend from Sydney, chef Brendan Cato, founder of the acclaimed The Farmed Table, will be joining us to present a Long Vintage Lunch on Sunday March 17, 2019.
Brendan has worked in some of Sydney’s best restaurants (Sean’s Panaroma, Bistro Moncur) and since launching The Farmed Table in 2014, has gained a dedicated following for his unique events, which see him searching the countryside for the latest in-season, local, sustainably produced, fresh organic produce.
His menus are based solely on the ingredients he has sourced direct from local farmers and producers, providing a truly one-off dining experience every time.
This is Brendan’s fourth vintage with Ngeringa, helping with the winemaking and treating us to his incredible lunches and dinners.
The Long Vintage Lunch provides an excellent opportunity for all of our supporters to sample our fresh late summer produce and of course our wines.
We’re also extra excited because this visit will mark the launch of a new wine that Brendan and Erinn collaborated on last year.
The new NGARTO is a playful biodynamic Cote Roti style of Shiraz/Viognier, which had 10 months of elevage in French barriques, followed by a single racking, with the smallest amount of SO2 added just prior to bottling, to create a blend that would do us proud.
Following the launch, the NGARTO will be available exclusively from our Cellar Door (including online from Monday March 18) and at The Farmed Table events.
But back to the lunch…
We are offering one Long Vintage Lunch sitting only and places are strictly limited.
