Vintage 2008. A Viognier-Chardonnay blend, this new assembly is voluptuous in it's giving yet tight in its hold. Yellow peaches, freesia perfume, dripping honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla bean on the nose. On the palate the length persists and is overlaid by honeycomb, persimmon fruit and the Ngeringa Viognier musk. Certainly a wine for food.

Lovely drink. Spicy, creamy, chocked with nectarine-like flavour and juicy and fine through the finish. Lots of power. Lots of spice. Tight through the finish at first but then it blooms convincingly outwards. Hedonistic without being overly alcoholic - though it does almost feel 'warm'. It's my favourite word, I know, but this is definitely delicious.
